General Sales: Shipping & Payment Policies
Payment via PayPal is preferred, as your model can ship faster, but payments through postal money orders and personal checks can also be accepted. Checks MUST CLEAR before the model can ship, which for checks, can take upwards of 30 days.
All horses are shipped via USPS with tracking. Insurance is strongly advised for painted pieces, as these are one of a kind art pieces. Insurance is mandatory on items over $500. A NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS – The customs value must be correct on the customs form. International buyers are responsible for any duty/taxes/charges, and are not included in the shipping. Please note that with the pandemic, shipping to international locations may take longer than usual. I will happily ship to a third party US friend or painter - but after the piece has reached them, all responsibility for what happens to the item after is out of my hands.
Selling an item you have purchased from me prior to you actually receiving the piece is strictly prohibited. Any violations of this can result in being refunded for the item and / or no longer able to purchase items from me in the future.

Time Payments
All payments are non-refundable.
The maximum length for time payments for most sales are 4-6 months. Items that sell over $1500 may be able to be extended on a case-by-case basis PRIOR to bidding with at least 20% down at the time of the auctions close (unless otherwise specified in the listing). The rest of the payments will then be spread in even, monthly payments. A payment is expected every 30 days, if you are going to be late, an email would be expected to let me know of any delay. Non-payment for two consecutive months with no communication is grounds for cancelling the transaction and listing the art piece back for sale. I understand emergencies happen, so please email me if there will be any issue.
I use PayPal's invoicing tool for all payments - this allows the rest to be paid off in equal monthly installments and makes partial payments easy for both parties to keep track of all payments made and amount due. This is something that is accessible to you at any time. Payment is expected on the SAME DAY EACH MONTH. A $20 late fee will be applied for missing or late payments with no prior communication. This is applied after one week of late payments and will be applied each week its late after that point. I will send courtesy reminders of payments due date each month.
Making your initial deposit on your piece is agreement to the above terms, unless otherwise discussed with myself in emails.

Exchanges/Returns:
- Painted Pieces: All Sales are final unless otherwise stated in the individual sales agreement.
- Unpainted Resins and Medallions:
- You have a 5–day inspection period during which time you may return a casting for an exchange or a full refund (less shipping) if not fully satisfied (resin is warped, broken, or otherwise compromised). Be aware you may have to wait for a replacement casting to be made, available from the next batch of castings depending on what I have available. Please note, regardless of the reason for wanting an exchange, photos of the damage will need to be included in your email.
- When you return a model for exchange, it is expected the model be packed with the same care it was originally shipped with, the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges to send the model back to me.
- Micro Mini's and Medallions will not need to be shipped back to me.
- Commissions (when offered): Are non-refundable, as I will make every effort** to ensure the model is what you envisioned. **This doesn't mean that you can choose a different color halfway through me finishing a piece, that will incur more charges.
Resin Modifications, Retained Rights:
You may paint and customize your resin in any way you see fit, I just ask that you make note of any of the modifications you have made to the sculpture very clearly should you choose to sell. You may not however, cast the resulting piece in whole, or in part. Attempting to recreate a derivative or ‘likeness’ of my sculptures in any scale or media, be it from scratch, a Breyer or Stone plastic model, or another artist’s resin customization is also not allowed. Basically - any purposeful, intentional copying is a no-no.
Repairs, Restorations & Alterations on CUSTOM pieces:
Repairs:
I offer repairs on my custom painted pieces (resin or Breyer) IF I have time. If not, there are a number of wonderful restoration artists I can recommend (such as Sue Kern/Sakoris Customs). Pricing for repairs depend heavily on the amount of damage, and what caused the damages. Buyer is responsible for shipping to and from me for repairs.
Restoration:
This is for pieces that are not originally done by me. At this time, I do not publicly offer restoration on pieces.
Alterations:
I will not "freshen up" older pieces as this usually leads to repainting most of an older piece as basically a new commission. Alterations/modifying/adding to a piece is not permitted on any painted pieces without my explicit permission. If you choose to strip and repaint a model by me, that is totally at your own discretion. All alterations must be noted if the buyer chooses to sell the altered model in the future.

Commissions & Sales FAQ:
Can I make a private offer on a future drastic custom piece?
I have gotten this question a few times, and after careful thought, I have reconsidered my initial answer to this (which was originally - yes). To keep fairness to everyone who would be potentially interested in a piece, I have decided to sell my drastic customs by auction/offers only.
When will you be accepting more commissions?:
At this time, I do not foresee my commission books reopening (with the exception of commercial work or collaborations with artists). This goes for painting, re-sculpting, and restorations. Repairs on my pieces will be offered on a case by case bases, if I do not have the time, I have a number of wonderful repair artists I can recommend.
I know your books are closed but can you please give me a quote for X?
I cannot give you a quote about a future potential project. I appreciate the enthusiasm towards wanting a piece from me, but giving out quotes when my books are close indefinitely isn't fair to you or me. It may be months or years (if ever) before I reopen my books, so I would hate to keep a person waiting, and by then my prices may not reflect the quote given.
Can you put me on a list for future commissions?
Sorry, there is no such list. Having a list like this would cause undue amounts of stress and anxiety, and I do not like committing myself to a list of projects and keep someone potentially waiting for years only to find I cannot do the project. The best way to get a commission with me is to look out for announcement posts when they are made. I will post to Instagram, Facebook, and my website!
I can wait forever, can I please send you X horse and you can get to it whenever?
This is basically the same as the list. I do not want to have someone else's horse in my possession indefinitely. This would stifle creativity and cause me a lot of stress, I hate keeping people waiting forever! There are tons of fantastic artists out there :)
Are you ever going to be taking commissions for drastic customs (breyer or resin)?
No, I will not. Drastic pieces are something deeply personal to me. When I start a drastic custom, I usually have an idea in my head, but that idea can sometimes evolve throughout the process, or change entirely. I need the freedom to be fluid and go with where the piece tells me to, without having to worry about staying within rigid commission guidelines. This is how my best customs develop. Not to mention, the time and labor involved would be hard to calculate for each piece. The best way to get a drastic custom by me is to keep an eye out on my social media for posts about upcoming auction pieces! With my commissions being closed, and my backlog dwindling, this means more time is free to start more customs!
